Join us on January 4th for our Nollaig na mBan Walk in aid of two worthy charities. Firstly the Solas Cancer Support Centre who provide quality cancer support to the people of the South East and secondly the Irish Cancer Society in particular to support their Drivers for Chemotherapy program.
The walk is a 7km loop taking in Shanrahan Forest around Clogheen. The trail takes in part of the Blackwater Way National Waymarked Trail as well as some of the Clogheen Loop trail and passes over the river Duag twice as well as passing the historic Shanrahan cemetery. The walk will conclude in the Market Stone Bar & Restaurant with a light lunch ( chicken nuggets/sausages and chips for children). Boots optional for walk as most of the route is on hard surface so walking shoes/runners will suffice.
