Description
This 8km loop walk will unveil fabulous views across the entire Galty Vee Valley with the Ballyhouras, Galtees, Comeraghs and Slievenamon in clear view and Keeper Hill and the Devil’s Bit peaking out a little further away providing a coliseum of mountains towering above the 40 shades of green below in the fertile valley.
The terrain is forest tracks and trails with a gradual ascent requiring a moderate level of fitness. Sunset time is 9.45pm, however it will be approx 9.30pm when it drops behind the Galtee mountains
Waterproof walking boots/shoes with a good grip essential, hi viz and head/hand torch also required for the descent.
