After checking in at Clogheen Community Centre you will be bussed to the starting point. The trail goes along mountain paths towards Grubbs Monument to give stunning views of the Galty Vee Valley below.
The trail then descends to the iconic Vee hairpin bend before decending further picking up National Waymarked Trails of the Tipperary Heritage Way and East Munster Way, then into Kilballyboy Woods, before picking up another National Waymarked Trail, the Blackwater Way back to Clogheen along rhododendron lined trails.
After checking back in at Clogheen Community Hall, you will enjoy a hot meal while being entertained with live music on stage.
This walk is ideal for those with little trail walking experience. The pace will be gentle with plenty of small breaks along the way.
