Description
Three new trails have recently been waymarked from Kilballyboy Wood car park and this relatively flat trail picks up sections of all three.
Starting the trail in Gortacullen Wood, the trail passes over Graigue Glen via a large metal footbridge. The trail then picks up a section of the Vee Valley Loop under the Vee hairpin looking across to the Galty mountains. The Trail then enters the wood and picks up the Kilballyboy Wood Loop which in turn then picks up the Bay Lough Loop as all three walks head to the car park. This trail continues pn picking up the East Munster Way and Blackwater Way trails back to Clogheen.
After checking back into Clogheen Hall, you will enjoy a hot meal, followed by dessert, with live music on stage.
This walk is ideal for those with a low to moderate level of fitness.
