If you are up for a challenging walk, this is the one for you!!

Taking in a multitude of local and national waymarked trails this walk has it all with simply stunning vistas right across the Galty Vee Valley.

Starting off in Clogheen walking out the Vee road on the East Munster Way trail till Kilballyboy Wood, the trail then picks up one of the newly opened trail, the Vee Valley Loop which brins the trail upto the famous hairpin bend at the Vee before continuing on the waymarked mountain trail to Grubbs Monument and then over to Bay Lough surrounded by an amphitheatre of rhododendrons. From here the trail picks up the Blackwater Way heading past the statue and then uphill to the peak above Bay Lough, Knocknalogha. Following the fence until its meets another trail leading back down to Clogheen, where the views feel like you are walking on air they are so vast. The trail dips down into the woods picking up the Clogheen Loop and desending back to Clogheen.

After checking back into Clogheen Hall, you will enjoy a hot meal, followed by dessert, with live music on stage.

This walk is ideal for those with a moderate to high level of fitness.
