Description
We have a special treat in store for those taking part in this amazing summit walk.
Participants will be bussed to the walk start point along Rhododendron laden roads. Picking up the the Blackwater way for the first 2kms, then vering up to the summit of Knockshanahullion from the south side for amazing views of the Galty Vee Valley. Coming down the east side, another trail will give more spectacular views right across the valley below. The trail will then dip into Shanrahan Wood to witness more Rhododendron laden trails. The route will then pick up the alternative Blackwater Way route back to Clogheen.
After checking back into Clogheen Hall, you will enjoy a hot meal, followed by dessert, with live music on stage.
This walk is ideal for those with a moderate level of fitness.
